Coronavirus - important information for customers

As Mansfield’s Indian Premier restaurant, we wanted to keep you informed of the steps we’ve briefed in our Chand Indian Cuisine business to take, following the recent outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), to ensure we are prepared for all scenarios. It is very unlikely that you can catch coronavirus from food. We’d like to reassure you that we take food and store hygiene very seriously, as evidenced by the high-ranking score achieved for Food Hygiene inspections;-

The safety and wellbeing of both our customers and our teams is our number one priority, and based on the latest Public Health England guidelines we’ve put enhanced health and hygiene measures in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit, including:


• Frequent sanitising of all items you might have contact with in our stores including tables, chairs, door handles, taps, bathroom surfaces, menus, cutlery, crockery and counters.


• We’ve briefed our drivers on the virtues of contactless delivery. If you would like a contactless exchange, please notify the relevant store via order notes, or by calling the store direct.


• All team members will wear catering gloves at all times, ensuring they are changed every 30 minutes.


• Keeping a close eye on all of our team members to ensure they are fit and healthy


If you do feel unwell, we ask that you stay at home to recuperate where you can enjoy your favourite Indian/ Bangladeshi dish via delivery at
